Chennai is now home to a multitude of cuisines from all around the world. And Italian cuisine is not far behind after the Chinese cuisine so liked by the city people.

A Vegeterian's delight, this place offers a vast variety of italian dishes that suits one and all. Their signature items are crostini and pasta. Here the ambience is good and it's a place where veggie lovers are sure to have a good time. Desserts are amazing!!

Bella Ciao:

Food is good, ambience can be worked on. With two locations in the city, Thiruvanmiyur and Nungambakkam, this place can satisfy your italian food craving!! Only they do not seem to have much options for veggies, service can be improved.

Casa Picola:

Located in the very posh area of Nungambakkam, Khader Nawaz Khan road, this place is a good hang-out with family and friends and a good feast :) It's a very casual ambience and with kids, you could relax a bit with their comfortable, at home feeling.

Offering a variety global multi-cuisine food, this is one place i still need to visit!!

This restaurant by far has the best salads, appetizers and entree's and highly economical. A dinner for two would cost you about 350/-. You could also have half a dish, so you could try more varities.
Mohan, one of the attendants there helps you decide on the menu where you could savour a variety of dishes without stuffing oneself with only a couple of entree's. He comes up with suggestions that will satisfy your interests in whatever the Menu offers
